Are you wondering how you can afford the monthly cost of Fasenra? You’re not alone. Many Americans grapple with high out-of-pocket costs for essential medications. We understand the frustration of searching for a coupon or savings card to make the cost more manageable. Rising costs of prescription drugs, inadequate insurance, and high deductibles create financial strains that seem impossible.

At The Rx Advocates, we firmly believe no one should compromise their health due to financial constraints. We specialize in connecting individuals with Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) provided by pharmaceutical companies. We’re here to facilitate a smooth journey toward affordable, uninterrupted access to Fasenra and other vital medications.

What is the Fasenra Patient Assistance Program?

Pharmaceutical companies sponsor assistance programs for patients managing severe eosinophilic asthma who face financial barriers. Fasenra’s program ensures qualifying individuals maintain consistent access to benralizumab injections.

You provide prescription details and financial information. We provide the expertise. Our advocates coordinate with your pulmonologist, prepare necessary documentation, submit applications to manufacturers, and track progress through approval. Once accepted, medication arrives consistently.

We’re one of the nation’s leading prescription advocacy programs, dedicated to helping individuals save on Fasenra and over 800 FDA-approved medications. These advocacy programs provide substantial, consistent relief surpassing coupons in most cases.

Why Patient Assistance Programs Beat Coupons

While Fasenra coupons can be helpful, there are limitations to consider. Patient assistance programs offer more substantial and long-term savings.

Coupon limitations

  • Pharmacy restrictions: Often valid at only certain pharmacies or for limited time
  • Insurance conflicts: Copay accumulator programs mean savings might not count toward out-of-pocket maximum
  • Expiration concerns: Become useless after expiration dates
  • Partial coverage: Even with coupons, Fasenra might remain expensive

PAP advantages

  • Substantial savings: More significant and long-term than coupons
  • Ongoing access: Ensuring uninterrupted medication without limitations
  • Transparent pricing: Remains consistent with no hidden fees
  • Expert support: We manage applications and ensure approvals

About Fasenra

Fasenra (benralizumab) is approved for those 12 years and older with asthma uncontrolled by other asthma medicines.

What it treats: Primarily used to treat severe eosinophilic asthma, characterized by high levels of eosinophils in lungs. This condition often presents with persistent airway inflammation and recurrent asthma attacks.

How it works: Targets and blocks action of interleukin-5, a naturally occurring substance stimulating production of eosinophils. By inhibiting this activity, Fasenra reduces the number of eosinophils in blood and airways.

Administration: Available as a prefilled syringe. Dosage and frequency may vary depending on severity of condition.

Side effects:

  • Common: Headaches, injection site reactions, upper respiratory tract infections
  • Serious: Allergic reactions, worsening asthma symptoms

Important warnings: Not approved to treat other problems caused by eosinophils. Not used to treat sudden breathing problems. Not known if safe in children under age 12. Do not use if you are allergic to benralizumab.

Severe eosinophilic asthma places significant limitations on daily life. When Fasenra becomes unaffordable, treatment gets interrupted and symptoms worsen.

Patient assistance programs exist specifically to prevent this scenario. The catch? Most people don’t know they exist! The application process overwhelms those who do.
