Are you finding it challenging to afford your prescription for Pradaxa? We realize that for many individuals, covering the expense can be an uphill battle without assistance from insurance coverage, a coupon, or patient assistance program. For people with atrial fibrillation or who need blood clot prevention, consistent anticoagulant therapy isn’t optional. It’s critical for preventing life-threatening complications like stroke.

That’s where The Rx Advocates step in. Our mission is helping you substantially reduce monthly costs by connecting you with Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) offered by pharmaceutical manufacturers. By participating in programs, you can achieve even greater savings than with regular coupons.

What is the Pradaxa Patient Assistance Program?

Pharmaceutical manufacturers sponsor assistance programs specifically for patients managing cardiovascular conditions who face financial barriers. Pradaxa’s program ensures qualifying individuals maintain consistent access to anticoagulant medication.

You provide prescription details and financial information. We provide the expertise. Our advocates coordinate with your cardiologist, prepare necessary documentation, submit applications to manufacturers, and track progress through approval. Once accepted, medication ships directly to you each month.

We help people connect with over 100 patient assistance programs. Programs include 800 FDA-approved medications that people need to be healthy. We are a nationally recognized prescription advocacy program.

How to Qualify

To qualify for most patient assistance programs, people must meet these guidelines:

  • An individual can qualify if they earn up to $40,000 annually
  • A couple can qualify if they earn up to $60,000 annually
  • A large family can qualify if they earn up to $100,000 annually
  • U.S. residency and valid prescription

Guidelines can vary between programs. Contact us and we will review your information to see if you qualify.

The Rx Advocates Can Help Reduce Pradaxa Costs

We are not a prescription discount card, coupon, or insurance plan. We connect people with pharmaceutical companies’ patient assistance programs to get them medications at affordable prices with less stress.

We work with patients and doctors to put together all information for applications. We submit applications and follow up with each pharmaceutical company to make sure everything needed was submitted. After pharmaceutical companies approve applications, we continue to take care of additional paperwork.

Patients who get medications with us pay a fixed service fee of $80 to $110 monthly depending on medication count. The price from us does not change even if retail price changes.

Why Patient Assistance Programs Beat Coupons

While coupons might seem like quick solutions, they don’t provide sustained support needed for ongoing anticoagulant therapy. Patient assistance programs deliver more reliable assistance.

Coupon limitations

  • Limited duration: Temporary savings that expire
  • Usage restrictions: Valid only at specific pharmacies
  • Partial coverage: Still leave substantial out-of-pocket costs
  • No consistency: Unreliable month-to-month

PAP advantages

  • Greater savings: Even more than regular coupons
  • No stress: We handle complex processes
  • Consistent access: Never worry about running out
  • Ongoing support: Continued assistance with renewals

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Patients managing cardiovascular conditions commonly ask these questions about Pradaxa costs and assistance.

With The Rx Advocates, patients pay a fixed monthly service fee, which depends on the number of medications covered.

  • 1 Medication (Pradaxa only) – $80 per month
  • 2 Medications (Pradaxa + 1 other) – $90 per month
  • 3 Medications (Pradaxa + 2 others) – $100 per month

Cost varies for different reasons:

  • Location: Costs of living differ in varying parts of country
  • Pharmacy: Which pharmacy used affects price
  • Insurance: Makes big difference, especially without coverage
  • Dosage: Comes in 75mg, 110mg, and 150mg

Individuals earning up to $40,000, couples up to $60,000, and large families up to $100,000 annually can qualify. Guidelines vary between programs. Contact us so we can review your information.

Patient assistance programs are put together by pharmaceutical companies to provide people medications at no cost. Patients can apply themselves, but the process is long and confusing. Many give up before approval. We work with patients and doctors to handle all paperwork, submit applications, follow up with pharmaceutical companies, and manage renewals.

  • Serious: Major bleeding events, gastrointestinal bleeding, stroke

Important warnings: Should not be used by someone currently bleeding from injury or surgery. Should not be used by anyone with an artificial heart valve. Women should not breastfeed if taking Pradaxa.
