Accessing Vraylar Patient Assistance Programs with the Rx Advocates

The Rx Advocates is a prescription advocacy program. Our program is recognized on a national level. The Rx Advocates help people get into patient assistance programs. We link patients with over 100 United States-based pharmaceutical manufacturers’ patient assistance programs. These programs include more than 800 FDA-approved prescription medicines. We can help people afford the top 100 most prescribed medications in the United States.

When patients allow The Rx Advocates to help them with their monthly medications, they can count on a steady price. The only cost is a $80-$110 service fee depending on the number of medications we help with. They will never have to pay more than the monthly service fee for the prescriptions they use every day.

The Rx Advocates do not hand out coupons or discounts. The Rx Advocates is not an insurance plan. We help patients get connected with the patient assistance programs that pharmaceutical manufacturers offer.

Using a Vraylar coupon vs. a patient assistance program

While a Vraylar coupon can provide some immediate cost savings on the medication, there are limitations to its use. For example, coupons may be valid only for a limited time or may have restrictions such as being valid for a certain number of refills. Additionally, the cost savings provided by a coupon may not be as significant as those offered by a patient assistance program. Patient assistance programs like The Rx Advocates can provide substantial long-term savings on medication costs by helping patients apply for pharmaceutical company assistance programs that offer free or discounted medications. These programs offer an alternative to using Vraylar coupons and can provide substantial long-term savings on medication costs. It’s important for patients to carefully consider their options and to weigh the benefits and limitations of using a Vraylar coupon before making a decision.

How much does Vraylar cost?

As of January 2024, the average retail cost of Vraylar is $1,657.00

Prescription drug prices can vary, even for the same medication. There are a few reasons why this happens. Prices can be different in one part of the country than in another. Different pharmacies may have different prices for the same medication. There can be a significant price difference when one person has insurance and another person does not.

This medication comes in capsule form in four dosage levels. There is a 1.5 mg tablet, a 3 mg tablet, a 4.5 mg tablet, and a 6 mg tablet. Vraylar is taken once daily by mouth with or without food.

Vraylar coupon, discounts, & patient assistance FAQ's

Vraylar (cariprazine) is an atypical antipsychotic medication. Vraylar rebalances dopamine and serotonin levels in the brain, which helps improve thinking, behavior, and mood.

Vraylar can be prescribed to treat bipolar I disorder or schizophrenia. These are both serious mental health disorders, and patients should not go without treatment.

Schizophrenia causes patients to interpret reality in an abnormal way. Symptoms of schizophrenia vary widely from patient to patient, but they may have disordered thinking and behaviors that can disrupt normal daily activities.

People with schizophrenia may experience delusions and hallucinations. Delusions are fixed beliefs that are not true. For example, some may think that other people can read their minds or that a major catastrophe is about to happen. Hallucinations are the experience of seeing or hearing things that are not there. Patients may also have trouble organizing their thoughts and communicating with others.

Bipolar disorder is a mental illness where a person has extreme shifts in mood over a period of weeks to months. The primary mood extremes include episodes of depression and mania.

Depression caused by bipolar disorder lasts at least two weeks. Patients can feel hopelessness, deep sadness, and a loss of energy. They may have suicidal thoughts.

When a patient has a manic episode, they have an extremely elevated mood which can last several days or weeks. They can feel impulsive, euphoric, and full of energy. Patients can behave in impulsive ways.

Vraylar is not for everyone. Older adults with dementia-related psychosis should not take Vraylar. This medication is for adults and has not been tested in children. If a patient is allergic to any of the ingredients, they should not take Vraylar. If Vraylar is taken during the last trimester of pregnancy, it can cause issues for the newborn. Women who are pregnant should talk with their doctor about the risks of taking the medication.

There are some other FDA-approved medications to treat bipolar I disorder and schizophrenia. Other medications are:

At The Rx Advocates, we do not distribute coupons or discount cards. We help people get into patient assistance programs. When someone has been prescribed Vraylar they may do a quick internet search to check the price. When they see the large price, they will probably search for a coupon. This makes sense, but there is a better option.

Often coupons are only good for one use. After the first month, a patient will have to pay full price for their medication.

Through The Rx Advocates

Helping patients get the medications they need at a price they can handle is the goal of The Rx Advocates. We know how hard it can be to afford the medications people need to live their best lives. It can be even harder if a patient needs more than one medication each month.

Patient assistance programs can make a big difference for people with a small budget. Pharmaceutical manufacturers offer these programs. These are public programs for people who meet the guidelines, but many people do not know about them. The Rx Advocates help patients get into those programs.

Patient assistance programs can help people who do not have health insurance and people that do have insurance. Some insurance policies may not have prescription drug coverage, or they may have very high copays. Letting The Rx Advocates help them get into the programs can make a big difference.

With The Rx Advocates, patients only pay the monthly service fee for the medications they need. The service fee depends on the number of medications patients use. One medication is $80 per month. Two are $90, and three medications are $100 per month. The highest rate is $110 per month for four or more medications.
