Epilepsy demands consistent medication to prevent seizures that disrupt life and create danger. When Fycompa costs exceed what you can afford, skipped doses increase seizure frequency and risk. Prescription expenses shouldn’t determine whether you control epilepsy effectively.

Our mission at The Rx Advocates is empowering individuals by connecting them with Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) that offer substantial, reliable savings. We guide you through the process while you focus on seizure management.

What is the Fycompa Patient Assistance Program?

Drug manufacturers create assistance programs for epilepsy patients facing financial constraints. Fycompa’s program delivers ongoing medication access beyond temporary coupon savings.

You provide medical and financial information. We handle complex application work. Collaborating with your neurologist, we gather required documents and prepare comprehensive submissions. We monitor progress through pharmaceutical companies. Once approved, medication ships regularly. We specialize in connecting individuals with programs from over 100 pharmaceutical manufacturers, aiding patients in acquiring over 800 FDA-approved medications.

Income requirements create eligibility guidelines, but programs also evaluate individual circumstances.

How to Qualify

Navigating guidelines can be complex as requirements vary between programs. We evaluate your situation to determine qualification.

Criteria include:

  • Individuals qualify if they earn up to $40,000 annually
  • Couples qualify if they earn up to $60,000 annually
  • Larger families qualify if they earn up to $100,000 annually
  • U.S. residency and valid prescription

Our criteria are designed to be inclusive. Contact us for evaluation of specific circumstances.

Why PAPs Beat Coupons for Sustainability

Coupons offer immediate savings but don’t address long-term affordability. Patient assistance programs provide more sustainable solutions.

Coupon downsides

  • Usage restrictions: Valid only at specific pharmacies
  • Copay accumulators: May not contribute toward out-of-pocket maximums
  • Expiration dates: Become invalid
  • Limited coverage: Retail costs remain high

PAP advantages

  • Long-term solution: Stable, affordable access
  • Maximum savings: Secured on medications
  • Application support: We assist through process
  • Consistent access: Hassle-free

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Epilepsy patients commonly ask these questions about Fycompa affordability.

With The Rx Advocates, patients pay a fixed monthly service fee, which depends on the number of medications covered.

  • 1 Medication (Fycompa only) – $80 per month
  • 2 Medications (Fycompa + 1 other) – $90 per month
  • 3 Medications (Fycompa + 2 others) – $100 per month
  • 4+ Medications – $110 per month

Importantly, there are no hidden fees, and prices remain consistent even if retail costs fluctuate.

Price is influenced by:

  • Prescribed dosage: Different dosages have different prices
  • Patient location: Geographic area
  • Pharmacy location: Pricing structures vary
  • Insurance plan: Coverage details

Complex interplay of variables makes predicting out-of-pocket costs difficult.
