Erivedge Patient Assistance Program

The tumor kept growing despite multiple attempts at removal. Your dermatologist delivered hard news – the basal cell carcinoma had spread too extensively for standard surgery. Removing it now meant reconstructive facial surgery. Erivedge offered hope, shrinking the tumor without surgical intervention. The medication worked, preserving your appearance and avoiding operating rooms. Then insurance coverage disappeared, leaving you facing costs that seemed impossible.

Our team at The Rx Advocates focuses on connecting advanced skin cancer patients to Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) that calculate Erivedge pricing based on financial need rather than oncology specialty drug rates.

What is the Erivedge Patient Assistance Program?

Pharmaceutical companies maintain dedicated funding for patients with advanced basal cell carcinoma who lack resources for targeted oral therapies. Qualification means accessing Erivedge at dramatically lowered prices, ensuring financial obstacles don’t force you into disfiguring surgery the medication successfully prevented.

You provide prescription and income documentation. We construct applications, coordinate medical verification with your dermatologist, file with manufacturers, monitor approval progress. Once accepted, Erivedge ships monthly to your home.

We link patients with inoperable skin cancers to pharmaceutical programs that base medication costs on financial capability instead of market pricing.

How to Qualify

Manufacturers evaluate multiple criteria when reviewing applications. Your chances strengthen considerably by meeting these income standards:

  • Singles earning under $40,000 annually
  • Couples with combined income below $60,000 yearly
  • Families of three or more making less than $100,000 per year
  • Active prescription from dermatologist or oncologist

However, it’s important to note that income alone won’t determine approval. Companies review additional qualification elements specific to individual programs, and each application will receive personalized assessment. If you’re wondering about eligibility, contact our team for evaluation now.

Pricing

Cost of Erivedge
with The Rx Advocates

The monthly service fee depends on the number of medications you take. For example:

1 Medication

$80 / Month

2 Medications

$90 / Month

3 Medications

$100 / Month

4 Medications

$110 / Month

NOTE: In addition to our monthly service fee, we charge a one-time enrollment fee of $35.
Our service is month-to-month, so if you’re not happy with it, you may cancel at any time.

The Rx Advocates Can Help Reduce Erivedge Costs

Our service fees stay locked regardless of Erivedge price fluctuations. Your monthly payment depends only on medication count needing assistance:

  • 1 medication: $80 per month
  • 2 medications: $90 per month
  • 3 medications: $100 per month
  • 4+ medications: $110 per month

Advanced basal cell carcinoma requires continuous oral therapy for tumor suppression. We built our service for patients facing insurance barriers – plans excluding oral cancer medications, out-of-pocket maximums already exhausted, or policies denying coverage for FDA-approved treatments.

Coupon programs don’t align with our mission. We process enrollment for manufacturer programs maintaining medication access at prices substantially below retail.

Why Patient Assistance Programs Beat Coupons

Coupons provide short-term savings. Programs ensure long-term affordability.

Coupon limitations

  • Pharmacy restrictions: Accepted at select specialty locations only
  • Copay accumulators: Savings don’t reduce deductible amounts
  • Expiration dates: Become worthless after brief periods
  • Coverage gaps: Insufficient for targeted cancer therapies

PAP advantages

  • Substantial savings: Discounts far surpassing coupon values
  • Reliable access: Medication arrives consistently without interruption
  • Predictable costs: Monthly fees unchanged by market conditions
  • Convenient delivery: Shipped directly to your residence

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

We know that you have questions. Below, we cover the most common ones we receive:

With The Rx Advocates, patients pay a fixed monthly service fee, which depends on the number of medications covered.

  • 1 Medication (Erivedge only) – $80 per month
  • 2 Medications (Erivedge + 1 other) – $90 per month
  • 3 Medications (Erivedge + 2 others) – $100 per month
  • 4+ Medications – $110 per month

Importantly, there are no hidden fees, and prices remain consistent even if retail costs fluctuate.

Retail pricing varies dramatically by specialty pharmacy and geographic region. Final costs depend on your location, which pharmacy dispenses your medication, and whether your insurance covers oral cancer drugs.

Standard income thresholds sit around $40k for individuals, $60k for couples, $100k for larger families. These represent baseline criteria only. Manufacturers consider additional factors requiring personalized evaluation from our team.

We manage complete enrollment and ongoing medication delivery – collecting dermatologist documentation, preparing manufacturer paperwork accurately, coordinating shipments and preventing treatment interruptions.

About Erivedge

Erivedge contains vismodegib, a hedgehog pathway inhibitor treating metastatic or locally advanced basal cell carcinoma unsuitable for surgery or radiation.

How it works: Vismodegib blocks smoothened protein in the hedgehog signaling pathway driving basal cell carcinoma growth. Inhibiting this pathway stops cancer cell division and causes tumor shrinkage.

Administration: Take one capsule daily with or without food. Swallow whole without crushing or opening. Maintain consistent timing daily. Continue until disease progression or intolerable side effects.

Side effects:

  • Common: Muscle spasms, hair loss, altered taste, weight loss, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea
  • Serious: Severe birth defects, bone growth abnormalities in children, muscle breakdown

Important warnings: Causes devastating birth defects and fetal death. Women require contraception during treatment and 24 months after stopping. Men must use condoms during therapy and 3 months after. Blood donation prohibited during treatment and 24 months afterward. Never give to children – causes premature bone fusion. Can trigger severe muscle damage requiring immediate medical attention.
